"HI,My name is Cheryl Scavarda. I am married and the proud mother of Jenna and Mariella Scavarda. Jenna is a 5th grader and Mariella is a 1st grader at Oake Pointe Elementary School. I have been very active with the school since we have been coming to this school. We have moved here from Illinois a year and half ago and the transition to OPES was very easy and comfortable. When I was in Illinois I was part of the school board where my children attended. It was very important to me to be part of the school that my children were at . I assisted the PTO with a wide variety of activities for the school and families. I am a very involved parent with OPES and will continue to work hard at keeping the values of the school and PTO my top priority. I will make sure the events will continue to run with the best interest of children and OPES.I will continue working with business partners that OPES has and will make new relationships with local businesses to help with our organization .I will continue to work with administration to make sure all the school needs are met.
